FAQs

What equipment do I need to provide?

Closed toe athletic shoes are required to be worn during kickball.
All other necessary equipment is provided by Stonewall Sports Charlotte.

How do the teams work?

Teams are made of 3-4 players each. Then each round of the tournament these smaller teams are combined with different teams to make a larger team. Each round will be different depending on how many players register. All teams are awarded the same number of runs each round.

This is designed to be social and community building.

How is this different than Outdoor Kickball?
  • Teams are smaller and combined with others in a REMIX style of play
  • Balls are live until they hit the floor, meaning balls caught after bouncing off the wall or ceiling mean the kicker is out
  • All bases have safety bases, for safety…
  • Bases are half the distance as outdoor bases
  • Game is played indoors on basketball style court
  • All players kick each inning, outs don’t matter as much
  • Games are always high scoring and high energy
  • Read the rules for more nuanced differences
