Stonewall Sports Charlotte is extremely excited to announce the additions of Jason Lewis and Scot Mitchell to our leadership team as the first ever Esports Sports Officers! As it has been necessary for our sporting community to adjust and accommodate the changing environment, our members spoke, and we listened… by introducing the very popular and growing competition of Esports.
When Jason Lewis and his husband Will relocated to Charlotte, they were quickly embraced by the Stonewall Charlotte family during their first kickball season, making new friends and family over the years within the community. Jason brings both a background in applications and website Software Engineering, as well as Web Design and Marketing to his role. Coupled with his love of gaming and active lifestyle, he will provide a tremendous amount of talent and technical skills to the first Esports league for Stonewall Sports!!

Scot Mitchell joins Stonewall Sport Charlotte’s Esports leadership team to encourage growth of members through the new and evolving 
Esport league enabling us to expand upon the support and comradery the organization provides to the LGBTQA+ community. Scot was first drawn to Stonewall Sports Charlotte for the welcoming community and the friendly competitive environment it provided and quickly became an active and enthusiastic member. Drawing from his background as marching band instructor, special education assistant, visual Instructor for Carolina Crown Drum and Bugle Corps, in addition to being an avid gamer, Scot brings the skills and the tenacity to bring Eports to life!
