Monica Miklos Joins Stonewall Sports Charlotte Leadership Team, Heading Bowling League.
Stonewall Sports – Charlotte welcomes, with open arms, long-time member Monica Miklos as our Bowling Sports Officer. Monica became an active member of Stonewall Sports as a founding member in the very first Kickball league as team Kicki Longstockings for four seasons before discovering Bowling. Playing for several seasons, meeting new friends, Monica is excited to step into the role of Bowling Officer to give back to our organization that has provided many local athletes with so much. “I love how Stonewall brings our LGBTQ community together with a little friendly competition.”
Originally from Marion, NC Monica moved to Charlotte in 2008, also working as an Accounting Manager for Parsons Corporation for the last 11 years, and has loved it!. Together with her wife of 5 years, Amanda and their two dogs Lady and Maggie, they spend their time traveling and experiencing new cultures while loving on their fur babies.
