Job Title: Photographer
Location: Charlotte, NC
Type: Freelance / Contract
Stonewall Sports Charlotte is looking for an Event Photographer/Videographer interested in working with the leading LGBTQA+ Sports Organization for 14 events per year. The photographer should produce high quality, consistent photos and videos, in both indoor and outdoor settings based on the organizations brand and style. This is an onsite opportunity in Charlotte, NC on pre-scheduled dates and times with awarded applicant. Most events are only for a few hours, no more than three.
Photographer Responsibilities:
- Ensure shots have proper lighting and composition to effectively communicate.
- Capture superior photos utilizing technical skills.
- Work closely with the Marketing Team to develop image concepts and capture desired results.
- Submit unedited assets to Communications & Marketing Director no later than 3 days after each event via web upload.
- Be friendly and non-biased to our 1200+ valuable players that are composed of a wide range of gender, age, race, and sexual orientations.
Photographer Requirements:
- Digital camera experience is required.
- Experience in shot composition is required.
- Must have proven abilities to shoot both action and still style photos & videos.
- Must be able to shoot in both darkish and fluorescent environments.
- Must be highly organized and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Portfolio required.
Compensation & Terms:
- This is a one year contract with the organization paying per event once photos are sent to the Marketing and Communications Director.
- Photos must be non-watermarked
- Stonewall Sports Charlotte owns all rights to photos and videos.
