Roger Howard Joins Stonewall Sports Charlotte’s Board Of Directors, City Commissioner.
Stonewall Sports Charlotte has the honor of welcoming Roger Howard to the important and influential role of City Commissioner effective April, 2020. Roger has been an active part of the Stonewall Sports Charlotte family for several years, most recently serving as the Dodgeball Sports Officer. Understanding that the players make up the organization, he was drawn to Stonewall Sports Charlotte due to the members strong support of sports, community and fellowship. “Having experienced first hand the good we do for the community and one another, I’ve made it my social mission to replicate that experience for others, so I answered the call to get involved.” This is what makes Roger the perfect fit for City Commissioner.
Roger looks forward to helping move the needle of Stonewall Sports Charlotte forward and to continue to see it grow and flourish. His personal mission is looking for new ways to engage new people that may not realize that there is a place and fit for everyone within the organization, as well as continuing to tighten the bonds of our strong Stonewall Sports Charlotte family.
Bringing with him several years of Property Management experience at the stylish Savoy apartments in Uptown Charlotte, a passion for discovering music to reflect every moment, skydiving with his parents, Xbox gamer and self described comic book NERD, we know that Roger will be right at home in his new position.
